It's true! Cats do like music. But not all types of music are to their liking... we have found that Native American flute music and re-composed Classical music is their favorite. They are relaxed by soothing music, just like we are. Santa Fe Bengal Cattery has just added specially composed music to our Cat Houses for our Cats listening pleasure! ...and they love it!

As a dedicated Bengal Breeder, Santa Fe Bengal Cattery is adding a Foundation Bengal Queen to our Breeding Program. We believe in breeding better Bengals and are always looking to the future of the Bengal breed. Our new F1 girl is from Sandra Keever-Sipe, Unique Prints Cattery, and we are extremely pleased with her looks and her temperament! That's our girl in the first photo above... WOW!!

As a responsible Cattery, Santa Fe Bengal Cattery periodically tests for feline viruses, vaccinates, and has each cat receive a physical by our "Feline Specialist" Veterinarian. We are proud to announce that we are, again, 100% negative for FeLV/FIV and all Cats are in excellent health. Dr. Glenn Olah, DVM, Feline Specialist and Wendy Meyers, Veterinary Assistant, of Smith's Veterinary Hospital in Santa Fe spent the morning, 9/17/08, at our Cattery doing exams and testing and they were both also very impressed with our Cattery Habitats, cleanliness, and the relaxed, happy temperaments of all of our cats, as well as our Bengals' incredible beauty!
Upon the completion of our new, larger "boy only" habitat, we will be inviting Dr. Olah back to our Cattery to complete an official TICA Cattery Inspection on both habitats and we look forward to officially being an Outstanding TICA Cattery. We will keep you all advised of our standing!
