Your new Kitten is like a toddler. Adorable, entertaining, and full of energy. Every youngster likes to explore his/her surroundings – that is how they learn. A Kitten is growing and learning for the first year or so of his/her life. Bengal Kittens want to please their humans and will learn well what you like and don’t like. Like a child, a Kitten will learn your characteristics and personality. Treat your new Kitten with kindness, respect, and love and they will return those emotions to you.

At Santa Fe Bengal Cattery, we work very hard to get all of our Kittens off to a well- mannered, happy start to their lives… the next steps are up to you. Because Kittens (akin to toddlers) will be exploring their new home (yours!), it is important to make their surroundings comfortable and safe. • Your first purchases to prepare for your new companion will be appropriate food and water dishes and a litter box. Dishes can be glass, stainless or food grade ceramic and need to be washed with dish soap and rinsed well once a day. Make sure that your Kitten always has fresh water.
